  • Conducted research and writing on public policy and public interest law with a special focus on human rights; immigration, women’s rights, and civil rights
  • Supported internal operations by maintaining office systems which included Microsoft Office and WordPress, conducting daily data entry, and writing 5-10 blog posts per week for the official website

Volunteer Experience

La Provivienda, Madrid, Spain                                                                               February 2023 – May 2023

Volunteer

  • Taught English lessons to refugee petitioners and seekers of asylum in Madrid. The lessons were designed to aid in improving their fluency in English from a basic to intermediate level
  • Prepared collaborative and engaging lesson plans each week that provided students with a combination of grammar, conversation, listening, and reading comprehension
